3RD QUARTER: REFLECTION

As the third quarter comes to a close, it's difficult to believe we're approaching the end of the 2020-2021 academic year. Even if the school year is approaching to an end, it is still extremely difficult and stressful because, due to the pandemic, we are currently studying at a different phase, online or modular learning. Despite the fact that I should be happy because, after returning from a much-needed break and passing three challenging periods, we will now enter the fourth marking period full steam ahead, I can't help but feel sad and anxious. On the other hand, I have to remind myself that I gave it my all and that's why I'm here.

The sort of learning has changed in the most recent quarter of ICT. We learned about community-based research in the third quarter, which we had never heard of before, but it is very similar to what we are learning in Research II; the only difference is that there are only a few parts to creating a community-based research, rather than the many parts we are doing in Research II; we all know that every community has its own set of differences and similarities, so learning and knowing about your own community is extremely important. We were initially tasked with developing a list of tourist attractions, foods and specialties, culture and traditions, language and literature, and other topics. I was furious with irritability.

I was stumped as to what to include on my grocery list. Despite the fact that I've lived in this neighborhood for 16 years, I admit to knowing very nothing about it. They can call me foolish, but I don't mind since I'm telling the truth. Then it hit me: I'm so lucky I learned how to develop my community-based program. Despite the obstacles I face, such as a lack of knowledge owing to my inability to travel to the place I chose for my research project, I am determined to succeed. This research increased my ability to compare and contrast as well as my ability to draw conclusions about what makes our community special.
